Give holiday dinner leftovers new life in this easy and comforting weeknight meal.

  • 4 slices Ben’s® White or Wheat Bread

    1 1/3 cups (325 mL) leftover mashed potatoes

    2 cups (500 mL) shredded cooked turkey

    4 slices mozzarella cheese

    1/2 cup (125 mL) warm gravy

    1 tbsp (15 mL) chopped fresh parsley


Preheat oven to 375°F (190°). Place bread slices on baking sheet. Top with mashed potatoes, turkey and cheese slices.

Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until toppings are hot and cheese is melted. Top with gravy and sprinkle with parsley.

Tip: For a hint of sweetness, add a layer of leftover cranberry sauce.
